LUFC Howson - We can go on a good run

Leeds United captain Jonny Howson says the club need to move on a draw inspiration from last season, after their humiliating 5-0 home defeat by Blackpool on Wednesday.

Leeds suffered a similar defeat to Cardiff City at this stage of the season last year and Howson is looking to draw inspiration from that as Leeds went on an unbeaten twelve game run afterwards.

Speaking on SkySports.com, Howson said, 'After the Cardiff game, we went on a bit of a good run and hopefully we can now do the same,' he said.
'The Blackpool game happened. It's gone now. No matter what we say or do it's not going to change anything. We've all got to be men out there and move on."

Leeds face the tricky task of travelling to big spending Leicester City on Sunday, who suddenly look like finding their form. Leicester won 3-1 at Burnley in midweek despite still being manager less after the sacking of Sven Goran Eriksson recently.

They also have to problem of who to play in goal. Andy Lonergan is injured and his replacement Paul Rachubka is unlikely to play after a horrendous night against Blackpool, which saw him withdrawn at half time. That leaves 18-year-old Alex Cairns as the only senior goalkeeper at the club.

Leeds will also have to make another change in the centre of defence with Tom Lees suspended following his sending off against Blackpool.

With his regular partner, Darren O`Dea still expected to be missing with a head injury; Simon Grayson is likely to recall Andy O`Brien to the starting XI.

The defeat on Wednesday saw Leeds slip to tenth in the championship table and they have now won just one of their last five games.

The supporters are in a state of shock. Howson would be best to keep his opinions to himself and do his talkking on the pitch. To date this season he has said a lot off the pitch and little on it.

He looked better at right back than he has in midfield.

Draw on 'inspiration' WTF is he on about. Do we have to draw on inspiration after another 5-0 drubbing, the worst display I have ever witnessed. 5-0 should not be happening at all absolute sh~#+e
