LUFC Snodgrass in but still no place for McCormack

Leeds United midfielder Robert Snodgrass has once again been called up for the latest Scotland squad for their friendly with Cyprus next week.

The midfielder was forced to pull out of Scotland`s last squad, the final two Euro 2012 qualifiers after suffering an ankle injury in the Portsmouth game prior to meeting up with the squad.

Surprisingly there is still no place in the squad for the championships leading goalscorer Ross McCormack.

McCormack has netted ten times already this season in all competitions but Scotland boss Craig Levein has once again overlooked him.

Scotland travel to Cyprus for the friendly on Friday November 11th as they prepare for their World Cup 2014 qualifiers, which start next year.
