The seasiders come into the game on the back of a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Lancashire rivals Burnley on Saturday.

They are struggling to get to grips with life in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League last season.

Blackpool have particularly struggled away from home, winning one, drawing three and losing three of their seven away games.

They have managed seven goals and conceded thirteen on their travels.

Their only away win came in the opening championship game of the season when they won 1-0 at Hull City.

They have won just one of their last four games, losing the other three.
