LUFC Leeds v Cardiff Form Guide

Leeds United and Cardiff City clash at Elland Road on Sunday and Vital Leeds looks at the form of both sides ahead of the game.

Leeds

The Whites lost for the first time in eight games when Birmingham City beat them 1-0 at St Andrews in midweek.

Leeds are looking formidable at Elland Road again this season, winning four, drawing one and losing one of their six home games.

They lost 1-0 to Middlesbrough in their first home game of the season, their only home defeat in the past twelve months since losing to Cardiff last October.

In their last home game, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Coventry City.

They are also scoring plenty of goals having netted eleven times in their six home games. Once again, they are struggling to keep them out at the other end having kept just one clean sheet at home against Portsmouth.

Leeds are currently in fifth place with twenty-one points from thirteen games.

Cardiff
The bluebirds come into the game after securing their place in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup in midweek, with a 1-0 home win over Burnley.

Their last two championship games have seen seventeen goals. A 4-3 defeat at Peterborough was followed by a 5-3 home win over Barnsley last weekend.

So far this season away from home, they have won one, drawn three and lost two, scoring eight and conceding nine.

They have not won away from home since their opening game of the season when they won 1-0 at West Ham United.

Cardiff are currently in eighth place with twenty points from thirteen games.

Recent Championship form: DWLDLW

We all said there would be plenty of goals at Peterborough last weekend and we wasn't to be disappointed. Looks like another game that could have plenty in it.
