LUFC Keogh - We deserved the win

Leeds United striker Andy Keogh felt Leeds thoroughly deserved the three points after a great performance at Doncaster Rovers.

Leeds cruised to victory at Doncaster thanks to goals from Danny Pugh, Ross McCormack and Tom Lees and Keogh felt the win was well deserved.
Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Keogh said, "We haven`t won away from home this season. I think we put on a great performance and we deserved to win."

Despite not scoring, Keogh led the Leeds line all evening in a very hard working display and he was unlucky not to get on the score sheet himself when his shot came back off the underside of the crossbar.

The striker, who started his career at Elland Road before leaving to join Scunthorpe United, is currently on loan at Leeds from Wolverhampton Wanderers until January.

Surely Grayson needs to be sorting out a long term deal with Wolves for Keogh because if not somebody else will be coming in and getting him in January.

I am trying to weigh up what Keogh brings to the side compared to his goal output. He is a striker who is paid to score goals but he works so hard. I did say when we signed him that he would run all day but not score goals. I suppose if he is a major factor in us winning games and helping others score then I will accept him scoring every now and then. I can't see Becchio getting fit whilst he's relying on 15 minutes and the odd practice game but we can't replace the front two. Keogh as actually been a huge influence on McCormack. He has looked a completely different striker since Keogh arrived.

Wouldn't like to lose Keogh now he and McCormack have a good understanding playing together...I'd say Becchio is sick after getting that injury because he cant get back into the team only getting 15/20 mins coming off the bench! Hopefully he wont want to leave Leeds for first team football somewhere! Else''...
