No op for Nicholls

The surgeon looking after Kevin Nicholls after his recent injury has decided agianst putting him under the knife for the time being, much to the relief of manager Kevin Blackwell.

Blackwell told leedsunited.com 'It's good news that Kevin doesn't need an operation right now.

'These days there is always the risk of complications with surgery, as we found out with Steve Stone last season.'

The scan shows ligament damage and Kevin has been warned he faces at least 3 months on the sidelines.

glad to hear super kev doesn't need surgery, would be a little harsh for us to take your money and leave you a COMPLETE cripple! He'll impress for you when he gets back though.
