LUFC Bessone happy to be back with Swansea

Departed Leeds United defender Federico Bessone is happy to be back at his former after leaving Leeds to join Swansea City on deadline day.

The shock move came in the final hours of the transfer window on Wednesday night with Bessone happy to put a nightmare twelve months at Elland Road behind him.

The left back made the switch from the Liberty Stadium to Elland Road in the summer of 2010 when he signed a three-year deal at Leeds.

Bessone was a regular in the opening month of the season, starting Leeds first eight games but he didn`t feature again after suffering an injury in the 5-2 defeat at Barnsley in September.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , Bessone said, "To be honest, I couldn`t enjoy it like I did at Swansea. I played six league games and two cup games; that`s all. After that, I didn`t have the confidence of the manager and went on loan to Charlton, which was good for me.
"The style just didn`t suit me at Leeds. I didn`t see any team play like Swansea did in the Championship. I went to Swansea to watch the game against Leeds last season and you could see the difference between the teams.
"I feel sorry it didn`t work out as I wanted to show them (Leeds) my quality and I couldn`t.
"But Leeds is in the past now and I want to enjoy it at Swansea. I`m with the guys I used to play with and I still know most of them so I`m happy."

Bessone spent the second half of last season on loan at League One side Charlton Athletic and he was placed on the transfer list by Simon Grayson in the summer.

Leeds released him from his contract so that he could return to Swansea and the chance of Premier League football.

Not half as happy as I am at seeing him leave. What a shocking signing he turned out to be. He was awful from his very first game. I must have missed something surely? The fact is he's now in the Premier League

Is he trying to blame the team for his performances?.

I'm happier then Bessone that he's gone back what a waste of space and money...He's going into the PL! To play in defence if thats the case Swansea will be coming back into the Championship...And the other good thing with him gone is that he's off wages bill...
