LUFC White earns second cap
Aidan White won his second Republic Of Ireland under 21 cap as they started their Euro 2013 qualify with a 2-1 home win over Hungary.
White made his debut last month in a friendly against Austria and he again started this game.
The young Leeds winger was also the victim of a studs up tackle in the closing minutes of the game that saw Hungary player Bence Iszlai shown a straight red card.
Ireland won thanks to goals from Robbie Brady and Rhys Murphy.
They now travel to Turkey for their second qualifying game on Tuesday night.
