'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Leeds could of got rid of Barn Door Billy!

According to reports in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds missed out on getting rid of 'Barn Door` Billy Paynter on transfer deadline day.

Fellow championship side Brighton and Hove Albion were believed to have offered 150,000 for the player who has scored once in twenty-four appearances but Leeds were holding out for 250,000.

This is the same player who actually joined Leeds for free the previous summer.

Leeds did manage to get rid of some of the deadwood on deadline day with Mike Grella and Federico Bessone released by the club.

Once again, Leeds fans were left frustrated with the lack of activity of players coming in and it seems more time is spent getting rid of the deadwood every deadline day.

Well of you only offer peanuts you usually just get monkeys, or in this case donkeys!

didn't sign anyone? we've already signed players. if you identify targets to IMPROVE the team and those targets don't come off do we sign someone for the sake of it? how many players have we missed out on that would actually improve us? take out those demanding huge fees, we are not in the business of boom or bust anymore paying inflated prices for ego players...
