LUFC Gradel departs Leeds after transfer request

Max Gradel will leave Leeds United after handing in a transfer request.

Leeds have accepted a bid from French side St Etienne after last seasons player of the year submitted a transfer request on Tuesday.

Gradel scored 18 goals in his first full season at Elland Road after joining from Leicester City on a full term basis in January 2010.

The player will complete a medical with St Etienne on Wednesday with an undisclosed fee agreed between the two club.

He falls over himself to shout about how much he spends - grow a pair KB and tell us how much you make aswell - so we as fans know just how much you cream off before letting SG spend some

This is the way of the football world. Another club offers the agent more money and the player immediately wants off. When this sort of thing is happening to Arsenal (Nasri and Fabregas), Manchester City (Tevez), Manchester Utd (Ronaldo) and Liverpool (Torres) we in the second tier have no chance of getting off the tragic roundabout.

Money'' but as we know that will never happen...

erni is spot on, I can believe that Gradel would have signed a new deal at the end of last season but his agents got in his head. Leeds should have sorted this out in January and not allowed him to get to the end of the season with only a year left on his contract. When will they learn. Who next?
