LUFC Howson - A lot of positives

Leeds United captain Jonny Howson believes the club can take a lot of positives from the point at West Ham on Sunday.

Leeds twice came from behind and could have quite easily have come away with all three points after dominating long periods of the game.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Howson said, "We can take a lot of positives from the game. We responded well, we had the chances and we deserved the goal. It shows the spirit of all the lads, even the lads coming off the bench. To go forward and nick one at the death to get a point here, I don`t think many teams will do that this season.

Leeds have bounced back from losing their opening two games of the season to hammer Hull City in midweek and then earn a deserved point at West Ham.

Leeds are back in action in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night at Doncaster Rovers before a trip to Ipswich Town next Saturday in the Championship.

I actually think the emergence of Clayton will take a lot of pressure of the shoulders of Howson this season. Can't wait to see Clayton and Howson make Kilkenny look silly next month.
