LUFC Possible Leeds return for Watt?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is read to offload Sanchez Watt according to reports.

Talksport report that Wenger is ready to listen to offers for the midfielder who enjoyed two separate loan spells at Elland Road.

The 20 year old originally joined Leeds towards the end of their promotion season in 2009/10 when he made six appearances during the run in.

Watt spent last season on loan at Leeds, making 26 appearances, including two against his parent club Arsenal in the FA Cup.

Wenger has bolstered his midfield over the summer months, further restricting the chances of first team football for Watt at the Emirates.

There were rumours earlier in the summer that Leeds were ready to offer Watt a deal at the club.

As with most of this summer though, it seems a lot of talk and not a lot of action at Elland Road.

I would expect Arsenal to be looking for around 500,000 - 1 million for him. They have just sold another youngster (Jay Emmanuel-Thomas) to Ipswich for 1 million and he's had a similar path to that of Watt. So that probably means he will be out of our price range despite Bates saying the 1 million we got for Schmeichel will be re invested
dazza71
Jay E Thomas is a better player than Watt who seems to be available for around 300k if reports are to be believed. Didnt our leader say yesterday we dont need any wingers and wouldnt invest in a free agent who wouldnt immediately make an imapce in the first team. Will Watt walk into the first team infront of Max and Snoddy (or even Sam and Nunez0 ??? I dont think so.
erni
Isn't he a winger and according to the Management we have enough already. Though he can play up front as well. Could we lose eoither Max or Snoddy

What Grayson says on Monday will be totally contradicted by Friday. Anything he says should be taken with a pinch of salt.

I've run out of salt this summer
