LUFC Leeds v Middlesbrough Head To Head

Leeds and Middlesbrough meet at Elland Road on Saturday for the fourty-third occasion in the two clubs history.

Leeds have much the better record having won 22, drawn 10 and lost 10.

Middlesbrough have much the better recent record, losing just once in their last five visits to Elland Road.

The first ever encounter came way back in the 1929/30 season when Boro won a First Division clash 2-1.

When the two clubs met less than twelve month`s later, Leeds recorded their biggest win when they trounced Boro 7-0.

Middlesbrough enjoyed their biggest win during the 1934/35 season when they won 4-2.

The last time the two sides met was on New Years Day. Leeds had to rely on a Luciano Becchio goal in stoppage time to salvage a point after David Wheater gave Boro a first half lead.
