LUFC Snodgrass scores winner for Scotland

Leeds United midfielder marked his first start for Scotland with the winning goal in the friendly against Denmark at Hampden Park.

Snodgrass stooped low at the back to post head home on a rain soaked pitch, just before half time.

The game was the 23 year olds third cap for Scotland since making his debut in February.

Scotland had earlier led through a Charlie Adam goal before a bad error of judgement by goalkeeper Alan McGregor allowed Denmark back into the game.

It was an eventful evening for the Leeds winger. He needed treatment in the first half after being kicked in the head and he was booked in the second half, before eventually being substituted in the closing moments of the game.
