Garra trial extended

Leeds United head coach John Carver hgas been speaking to leedsunited.com about young on-trial french starlet Dembele Garra.

Carver said: 'He's a young French boy we've had for a few days. We had to wait for international clearance and he will play in a couple more games before he goes back to France.

'Tuesday was the first time he's played for us and he did okay. It's always difficult for trialists coming in to any team, and he doesn't speak the language, but we had a good look at him and will continue to do so.'

Garra, who is at Auxerre, was training with Newcastle before his trial at Elland Road and played the last 45 minutes in the clubs recent 2-1 defeat to Scunthorpe.
