LUFC Leeds drifting in the betting

Leeds have drifted in the betting market since the odds were first released at the end of last season.

With odds taken from bwin.com, Leeds were 14/1 and have now drifted out to 18/1, 10th favourites for the title.

Big spending Leicester City have come in from 9/1 to 4/1 joint favourites with West Ham United.

The Foxes have been the big spenders in the championship this summer and have been heavily backed to win the title.

Ipswich Town have also brought in a number of players over the summer but are still relatively un-fancied at 20/1

Birmingham City started the summer as 6/1 favourites but have now drifted to 12/1.

Brighton are the shortest priced team from those that came up from League One last season at 14/1.

Leicester and West Ham are just 6/4 to secure promotion to the Premier League.

Leeds are 11/2 along with Cardiff City.

Last seasons beaten play off finalists Reading are 6/1.

Brighton are the shortest priced team of those that came up from League One last season at 9/2 for promotion

Barnsley and Doncaster are 40/1 outsiders.

Despite being one of the favourites for promotion, Birmingham City are also one of the shortest priced teams for relegation at just 5/1.

Of the teams that came up from League One last season, Peterborough United are the shortest priced for a quick return at 5/1.

A lot of pressure on teams like Leicester and West Ham who have splashed the cash. We are not fancied and whilst the fans have high expectations once again it might help us. Middlesbrough were a short price last season and were closer to relegation.
