The Saints have played six games during pre season, winning one, drawing three and losing two.

They started pre season with a 3-3 draw in Switzerland against FC Biel-Bienne.

They remained in Switzerland for their second game of pre season where they were beaten 1-0 by St Gallen.

Southampton were then involved in a three team tournament at St Mary`s against German side Werder bremen and Spanish side Athletico Bilbao.

They easily disposed of Werder Bremen 3-0 before losing to Athletico Bilbao 2-0.

Premier League side West Bromwich Albion were next up at St Mary`s and the sides shared a 2-2 draw.

A trip to Huish Park for their final pre season game against Yeovil Town saw them share another four goals in another 2-2 draw.

Leeds started pre season in Scotland with a 2-0 win over Falkirk and a 2-1 win at Motherwell.

They returned to England to face two games against League One opposition.

Leeds flew out to Norway for a game against Sandefjord and again played out a 1-1 draw.

Their only home game of pre season was their last game against Premier League side Newcastle United.
