LUFC Southampton v Leeds Head to Head

Vital Leeds United looks at the clubs head to head record at Southampton over the years.

The two sides have met on fourty-five occasions at Southampton over the years.

Leeds have the slight edge with goals scored, scoring seventy-two to Southampton`s sixty-five.

The first ever meeting came during the 1922/23 season when Leeds won 1-0.

1972. We won the one hundredth cup final. And another highlight. The meeting between these two sides at ER. 7-0. Yes. 7-0. Never avenged. Southampton always have an unease whenever they've played us since. Michael Bridges-that hattrick. Tony Currie and THAT banana shot. Hope Saturday match is also onew to remember
Rotherham White
A lot of Leeds fans left the ground at 3-0 when we came back to win 4-3. The last time we went down there and lost 1-0 we was awful. That game is the only ever time I have seen us lose at Southampton in about eight visits.

Lets hope we gat off to a good start
