LUFC Grayson remains coy over mystery trialist

Simon Grayson remained very coy in his post match interview when probed about the mystery trialist who played in the first half of the 1-0 win at Rochdale.

Being interviewed by Eddie Gray on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said,"He`s a trialist; he came in on Monday and trained with us.
"Somebody recommended him to us and the boy did ever so well. He`s a big boy, he can open his legs up, he looks comfortable on the ball and I thought he did well for us in the first half.
"He`s not trained much since the end of last season 'wherever` he was playing and that`s why we took him off at half time, but delighted with how he did."

Grayson did comment on Isaiah Osbourne and J. Lloyd Samuel who also played in the game on trail.

Both were released at the end of last season by Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers respectively, "It was a good chance to take a look at them and it doesn`t do you any harm," he continued.

The Leeds forums went into overdrive with whom the mystery trialist was with Alexandre Mendy a 27-year-old French winger proving a popular choice amongst fans.

Quite funny that he wouldn't name him yet most fans now seem to have identified him.
