Blackwell to get the chop?

Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell has been named as bet365's favourite to be the first sacking in the Championship this season at 11/2.

Steve Freeth from bet365 told sportinglife.com 'Leeds fell at the final hurdle last season and you get the feeling that Kevin Blackwell will have to hit the ground running, such are the expectation levels at Elland Road.

'After a couple of embarrassing pre-season defeats, you wonder how patient Ken Bates will be if Leeds take that poor form into their Championship campaign.'

I think these are fair odds to be honest, can't see Ken being too patient if we have a bad start.

It's aways the same, one person has got to take the buck ... the manager. I can never understand why players don't get fines and/or pay cuts for a series of bad results.
