You often read about parents who are football mad and will do anything to name their children after their favourites from the club they support.
I played cricket on Sunday in a local league game in the Oxfordshire area.
I turned up showing my colours and I was wearing my Leeds United replica tracksuit top from the mid 70's.
A player from the opposition who quickly started reminiscing about the great Leeds side of the 60 and 70 met me.
Another younger lad walked over and the opponent excitingly introduced me to his son 'Eddie Gray'.
He said there could only be one name for his son as he shared the same surname as the Leeds legend.
He thought it was great that he had managed to sneak the name past his wife and said he'd just liked the name 'Eddie'.
Unfortunately, for him, his wife didn't like the name 'Frankie' when she found out she was pregnant with their second child, a little sister for Eddie.
It was actually something we was talking about on the Vital Leeds United forum last week with a number of the members saying who they had named their children after, all with a Leeds connection.
When my partner was pregnant, we seriously considered the name 'Bremner` for my lad. We eventually decided against it, much to my regret now.
What lengths have you gone to, to make sure that your offspring share the same name of an old or current Leeds United player?
For the record, Eddie Gray had the last word on Sunday as his side won with seven balls remaining.
