LUFC Leeds plead guilty to FA charge

LUFC Leeds plead guilty to FA charge

Both Leeds United and Burnley will now face charges by the FA after pleading guilty to failing to control their players during the game at Elland Road on Saturday April 30th.

Players from both sides became involved in an altercation after a foul on Max Gradel by Burnley defender Chris McCann.

Leeds Neil Kilkenny and Eric Lichaj along with McCann were booked for their involvement in the incident by match referee Phil Crossley, in a game where he showed four yellow cards to each side.

It`s the second time this season that Leeds have been charged by the FA, they received a £7,500 fine and warned about their future behaviour after an incident at Nottingham Forest back in August.

Leeds have asked for a personal hearing with the FA.
