LUFC Leeds face FA charge

LUFC Leeds face FA charge

Both Leeds United and Burnley have been charged by the FA for failing to control their players during the game at Elland Road last Saturday.

Players from both sides were involved in an altercation after a foul on Leeds midfielder Max Gradel by Chris McCann of Burnley.

The referee Phil Crossley booked Leeds players Neil Kilkenny and Eric Lichaj for their involvement in the incident and McCann was booked for the initial foul.

The game saw eight bookings, with four players from each side receiving yellow cards.

Both sides have until 4pm on Friday to respond to the charge by the FA.

It`s the second time this season that Leeds have found themselves charged by the FA for failing to control their players.

Leeds were fined £7,500 and warned about their future conduct in the game at Nottingham Forest back in August following an altercation between players of both sides,
