LUFC Leeds v Reading Head To Head

Vital Leeds looks at the head to head record between Leeds and Reading at Elland Road over the years.

The two sides have only met on seven previous occasions with Leeds winning four, Reading one and two draws.

The first meeting came during the 1927/28 season when Leeds won a Second Division encounter 6-2.

It was almost sixty years before the sides met again when Leeds once again won a Second Division encounter 3-2.

Reading enjoyed their solitary victory during the 1997/98 season when they caused an upset in the League Cup, leaving Elland Road with a 3-2 win.

The last time the two sides met was during the 2005/06 season when they shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

The seven games have so far produced 27 goals at an average of 3.86 per game.
