LUFC Grayson delighted for Paynter

Leeds boss Simon Grayson was delighted to see striker Billy Paynter score his first goal for Leeds.

Paynter scored the crucial second goal with a great strike from the right edge of the penalty area just short of the hour and Grayson paid tribute.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, "It was an opportunity for Billy, He`s come on and done well in games, he holds up play well and he directs headers and he works ever so hard for the team.
"To score the goal with a great strike, he`ll be delighted tonight, it`s a real testament to the lad whose worked hard in training and taking the opportunity and I`m delighted for him."

The goal was Paynter`s first goal in sixteen appearances for Leeds since arriving from Swindon Town in the summer after he scored 29 times for the Wiltshire club last season, including four against Leeds.
