LUFC Howson We need to concentrate on our own form

Leeds United captain John Howson wants the team to put the disappointment of Saturday`s result behind them and get back to winning ways this weekend.

Leeds lost only for the second time since October at Swansea on Saturday, which as had some people writing off Leeds promotion bid.

Howson is sure there will still be plenty of twists and turns as they head into the final twelve games of the season.

Speaking on the official website, Howson said, 'We have Nottingham Forest and QPR to play and others have to play each other. We have to concentrate on our own form.
'At this stage of the season, the final push, they will all be big games. There's teams fighting against relegation and going for promotion, and there will be a few freak results.
'The positive is we've lost two in 21 and we can't let one game take away from that run of form.
'We'll look to Saturday now and getting another win. We've been on good form. We can't let it take too much out of us."

Leeds have bounced back well from their previous two Championship defeats that both came against Cardiff City.

When they were beaten by Cardiff in October they won 4-1 at Scunthorpe and went on a twelve match unbeaten run before losing at Cardiff at the beginning of January.

Leeds followed that defeat by drawing at Arsenal in the FA Cup before beating Scunthorpe in their next Championship outing, this time at Elland Road 4-0.

With play off places and relegation still to fight for in a very tight Championship, almost every one of the last twelve games will have something on it.

Leeds welcome Yorkshire rivals Doncaster Rovers to Elland Road on Saturday, as they will bid to bounce back from the disappointing performance at Swansea.

When you look at the usual starting eleven there are not many players in the team who have the experience of last seasons tense final few months of the season. Hopefully Grayson as got stuck into them this week and he's got a new player in to freshen things up.

Lets hope S G has got back to basics with the defence, and I'll go for 3 points at the weekend
