LUFC Grayson looking to add to squad this week

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has hinted that the club are likely to move into the loan market before the weekend.

Leeds face a tricky trip to second placed Swansea City on Saturday and with midfielder Bradley Johnson now missing the game after his sending off against Barnsley on Tuesday night, Grayson is looking to fill the gap.

Speaking on Radio Leeds, "Will I go out into the loan market? There is every chance that I will do that. We`ve already got irons in the fire, it`s just highlighted that I might need to now do it before the weekend.
"There`s opportunity for players to come into the club, Lots of players would like to come play for this club, so I won`t be too surprised if there is a new player at the club by the weekend."

Leeds currently have former Manchester United midfielder Michael Stewart in trial at the club and they have also been strongly linked with Manchester City midfielder Michael Johnson in recent months.

Any chance they can be a tough tackling workhorse in the centre of the park, you know the one we have been desperately needing all season.

Whats wrong with Grayson not bringing in players long ago? Do we need some of the players to get injured or banned before he he says Leeds need strengthening...We haven't got the cover we badly need and bringing in players that are cast offs...Leeds are the biggest club in this league with some of the *****estst players

It has been said he was confident of getting the Blackpool guy Keith Southern and everything was agree but Blackpool changed their mind last minute. Once the window had passed we are stuck to 93 days so Friday is the magic date for someone to see us thru to the play off final if we make it. Kilkenny and Johnson are offering no protection to the team at all when the opposition have the ball. Killa tried last night but he is just no good at ball winning and just gives away fouls most of the time. Johnsons game has deteriorated badly over the last four or five games.

It could be too late waiting just so the players available for the playoffs we have dropped alot of points we shouldn't have done, that player or players could have given the push we needed

Now Friday and still no sign of anyone coming in.
