LUFC Leeds v Norwich Match Officials

Neil Swarbrick will be the man in charge of Saturday`s crucial Championship clash between Leeds United and Norwich City at Elland Road.

The Lancashire official has taken charge of 25 games prior to the midweek games, showing 68 yellow cards and 3 reds.

He has already taken charge of Leeds this season when he officiated the opening day defeat at Elland Road to Derby County 2-1.

This will be the first time he`s taken charge of Norwich since the 2008/09 season when they were beaten by their local rivals Ipswich Town 3-2 at Portman Road.

If I remember rightly he was awful on the opening day of the season!

He was awful in that game at Portman Road. He gave them a penalty for a blatant dive (if it was a foul he should have sent our 'keeper off, IIRC he wasn't even booked!!) and in injury time he gave us a penalty for absolutely nothing. Two players jumped together to win a 50/50 ball and he pointed to the spot. Utterly bizarre.

The penalty he awared in our first game against Derby was a joke. Jusat the direction the ball went should have told him Sam got the ball but it was on TV and he wanted to be a star !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
