LUFC Elliott signs for SPL side

Tom Elliott who was released by Leeds United earlier today has signed for Hamilton Academicals.

The 21 year old has signed for Scottish Premier League side Hamilton Academicals until the end of the season after having his contract terminated my mutual consent at Elland Road..

Elliott made just four appearances for Leeds after making his debut in 2007.

The youngster also had loan spells at Macclesfield Town, Bury and spent the first half of this season on loan at Rotherham United.

I think this is his last chance if he wants to make anything out of being a professional footballer. He hasn't set the world alight with any of his loan spells and his desire was questioned at Rotherham.

This shows the quality of the fourth division and ths PL that h's struggled with Macclesfield, Bury and Rotherham and then signs for Hamilton.
