LUFC Elliott released by Leeds
On a busy day of departures at Elland Road, Leeds have also terminated the contract of Tom Elliott by mutual consent.
The 21 year old departs after struggling to break into the Leeds first team.
The striker became the first school boy ever to play first team football for Leeds when he made his debut for the club at Norwich City in 2007.
Elliott only made two further substitute appearances and his one and only start came in the Carling Cup at Macclesfield in August 2008.
He spent the first half of the season on loan at Rotherham United but came in for some criticism from Millers boss Ronnie Moore for his attitude.
