LUFC Bessone set to join Addicks

Federico Bessone is set for a switch to Charlton Athletic according to reports on Sky Sports.

The defender is set to join the Addicks for the remainder of the season on loan after struggling to regain his place in the Leeds side after injury.

The 27-year-old started Leeds first eight games of the season before injury at Barnsley forced him on the sidelines.

After regaining full fitness, Bessone has not even made the bench for Leeds with George McCartney, Ben Parker and Andy Hughes all being preferred ahead of him by manager Simon Grayson.

Bessone only joined Leeds in the summer from Swansea City in a three-year deal.

Of all the players Grayson brought in during the summer this one is certainly the biggest boo boo. He was poor in his first game, worse in the next and he went down hill from there!
