The midfielder had his contract terminated by mutual consent at Elland Road in December.

Robinson has been without a club since and trained with Oldham Athletic after his release from Leeds.

The 31 year old enjoyed a short loan spell with the Prenton Park club towards the end of last season from Leeds and it will be the third time he`s joined the club having started his career at Tranmere back in 2002.

He's joined Tranmere not Doncaster. Good chip shop next to Prenton Park, I bet thats whey he joined them

Don't forget the goal he scored for Tramere at the end of last season that ensured we went up. Very short memories some people have.

His goal didn't send us up. I didn't realise Robinson gets all the credit for 46 games hard work.
