LUFC Portsmouth v Leeds Match Officials

Anthony Taylor will be the man in charge when Leeds United get back to Championship action this weekend against Portsmouth.

The Manchester official has taken charge of 20 games so far this season showing 72 yellow cards and 10 reds.

The last time he took charge of Portsmouth was last season when they lost 1-0 at Fulham.

He`s already taken charge of Leeds on one occasion this season when he sent off two players in the Yorkshire derby against Sheffield United, one being Robert Snodgrass.

Leeds have won all six games played that Taylor has taken charge of since his first game in charge of Leeds in 2007.

Referee: A. Taylor (Manchester)
Assistants: S. Child & A. Garratt
Fourth official: K.A Woolmer

As much as I think Taylor is one of the worst referees I have seen this season, he's got a great record with Leeds. Surely he can't be as bad as David Webb was who refereed the game at Elland Road between the two sides last month. He was the most biased ref I have seen at Elland Road for many years.

I thought this guys refereeing of the game against the Blades was one of the poorest of the season and on par with Webb. Stop start stop start all game.

Defo Taylor couldn't be as bad as Webb! But he is bad, dishing out 10 red in 20 games... Leeds have won all six games played that Taylor, has taken charge of since his first game in charge of Leeds, in 2007, hopefully this weekend, it will be seven games won...

He's poor, very very poor, quite how he is working in the Premier League I don't know. He must have one of the highest rates for showing red cards this season of all the officials.
