LUFC Grella set to join Motherwell on loan
Leeds United striker Mike Grella is set to join Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on loan for the rest of the season.
A deal in principle as been agreed and the young American will be able to carry on with regular first team football after spending three months on loan at Carlisle United before the New Year.
Grella scored three goals in eleven appearances and Carlisle manager Paul Abbott was keen to keep the striker at Brunton Park.
The 23 year old scored for Leeds reserves last week in the 3-0 win over Scunthorpe United.
Grella becomes the third returning loan player this month to quickly go back out.
Both Liam Darville and Lubomir Michalik have been released from their contracts.
