LUFC Darville released by Leeds
Young defender Liam Darville has left Leeds United after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.
The 20 year old who came through the Leeds United academy spent the first half on the season on loan at League One side Tranmere Rovers making 13 appearances.
The defender also had a trial at York City in the summer as he failed to break into the Leeds first team, although he made a number of appearances in the reserves.
Darville follows Lubo Michalik, as the second returning loan player over January to be released by the club.

Another one bites the dust. He was hoping to get a season loan at Tranmere but fell out of favour. I saw him a few times and hes a tidy player so its a shame he didnt quite make it.

Sorry to see another Leeds youngster leaving...came through the Leeds United academy and is still only 20 years old what ever he does in the future I wish him well...

He's 20, if he was good enough he would have been given a chance by now. He couldn't even hold down a regular place at Tranmere, even Enoch Showunmi can do that!!!!
