A trip to Cardiff City on a Tuesday night in early January isn`t the ideal trip as well as the fiasco of collecting tickets from a Service station on the M4.
But I made the trip and here are my views of how I felt the Leeds players performed.
Made three or four really good saves to keep us in it in the first half. I think he should have been off his line a lot quicker for the winner, he would have probably have got there before Chopra.
Had a very poor game, was given the run around by Bellamy all night and was often caught ball watching.
I didn`t think he would last the ninety minutes as he was getting frustrated by mighty mouth Bellamy.
Aerially sound as he won most in the air, especially in the second half. Shame it wasn`t the same on the ground and was caught out of position for the winner.
Solid display by O`Brien, who only turned Cardiff down last week. Needs to start barking at the rest of the defence as we are continuously caught ball watching.
Looked rusty in the first half but actually got better as the game went on. Probably should have done better with the ball that led to the second goal with him and Collins out of position.
Wasn`t at it in the first half but in the second, both him and Johnson started to get a bit more time on the ball.
Same as Howson in the first half, he was the one who started to pull the strings in the middle of the pitch in the second half.
Needs to be rested for a game or two as he hasn`t looked at his best for the last few games. Just kept running down blind alleys.
Looked like the one player in the first half who looked capable of unlocking Cardiff all night. Was the one who looked dangerous in the first half and he got better in the second. Fantastic finish for his goal to equalise for Leeds.
Expected him to really want to show Cardiff but he was ineffective all evening and did very little.
Won every header in the first half but there was never any Leeds players going in behind him to collect the ball. Tired as the game went on.
Looked lively and it was a shame that Sam got injured as Watt was playing centrally and looking dangerous.
Didn`t last long as his evening was cut short through injury. I wonder what might have been?
He was his usual self but never got into an area to threaten the goal.
First half hour we was really poor as Cardiff could quite easily have been out of sight.
We wasn`t closing down quickly and every time they had the ball they had twenty yards of space to run into. When we had the ball, they closed us down quickly in numbers.
If we play like this against Arsenal on Saturday we will be on the wrong end of a heavy defeat.
Got better in the second half has the midfield started to take control of the game.
Snodgrass looked dangerous all night and it was another terrific strike to equalise.
We looked the more likely to go on and win after the goal as Schmeichel had little to do.
Still conceding soft goals and we seem to keep switching off. Both goals were easily avoidable and it`s the same old story.
Losing Sam was a huge blow as he was playing wide and Watt was through the middle. I honestly believe if he hadn`t gone off injured we would have gone on to win.
