'If It's Football, It's Vital'

LUFC Leeds v Portsmouth Team News

Simon Grayson is to assess his side before naming the starting eleven against Portsmouth.

Grayson hinted after the Leicester game on Boxing Day that he would make changes with a busy festive period.

Only Patrick Kisnorbo and Richard Naylor are definitely missing for Leeds.

Greg Halford returns for Portsmouth after missing the Boxing Day game through suspension.

Both Michael Brown and Richard Hughes are just one game away from a clause in their contract that would mean they would have to be offered a new deal.

I personally don't think he will make many changes for this game. I think he is more likely to rest a few for the Middlesbrough game ahead of the game at Cardiff. With my track record recently that means he will be making about six changes.

Give a few lads like Sam, McCormack and Paynter a run out. I am sure they will do really really well.

Understand Becchio has a knock should we risk him with the striker availability, don't think so myself

Given Kilkennys call up he will probably play him now until he goes on Sunday. I think Becchio will be rested today.
erni
Just to fill you in. Brown has already played his last game until his contract is renewed, so doubtful for today, and as for Halford, as far as we know he is back with Wolves at the moment!
