LUFC Leeds v Portsmouth Form Guide

Vital Leeds looks at the form of both Leeds and Portsmouth ahead of the clash at Elland Road.

Last time out at home Leeds beat league leaders Queens Park Rangers 2-0.

Leeds are now unbeaten in their last four home games and have won their last three against Bristol City 3-1, Crystal Palace 2-1 and QPR 2-0.

So far this season at home they have won six, drawn one and lost four of their eleven games.

Portsmouth

Portsmouth came from behind to draw 1-1 with Millwall at Fratton Park on Boxing Day.

Last time out on their travels Portsmouth won 2-0 at Norwich City.

Portsmouth have won their last two away games against teams doing well in the Championship.

As well as the win at Norwich, they have won 2-1 at Swansea City.

Portsmouth lost their first four away games of the season at Coventry, Preston, Crystal Palace and Sheffield United.

Their form as improved and they have lost just two of their last seven away games with defeats at Derby and Barnsley in November.

So far this season on their travels they have won four, drawn one and lost six.

Won their last two out so a team to be taken seriously. Still have PL players in theur team and will be dangerous.

Last two away from home they have beaten Swansea and Norwich so we need to take them very seriously.

They are still in toruble if they wont play players because of new contracts, I wouldn't mind having Michael Brown in our midfield.

Brown is 34 now Billy. But will be a miss to Pompey as the contract wrangle goes on and on.
