Vital Leeds finally caught up with a QPR fan willing to give a fans view of our players in Leeds 2-0 win over the league leaders on Saturday.
James Gordon made the trek up the M1 from Northamptonshire to watch his team lose their first away game of the season.
I regard Paddy Kenny and Kasper Schmeichel as the best two keepers in this division. Kenny may have let two in but without him, I think we would have conceded two or three more.
We never really tested Schmeichel all afternoon, he had two easy saves to make and that was about it.
We never really tested him all day down the left hand side. It was probably his easiest game of the season.
Bruce (Replaced 10 minutes)
Not really on the pitch long enough to make any impression on the game.
Hulse beat him in the air most of the game but there was no one there to pick up the pieces for Rangers.
Another one who we never really put under any pressure during the game.
Looks like the midfield is built around him and he`s allowed to roam.
Can see why clubs are interested in him, he got stuck in and usually started off the Leeds moves.
Did well in the middle and had a good scrap with Derry. The one thing all your midfield was guilty of though was backing of our main man Taarabt. It was a good job for Leeds that Taarabt was having an off day.
He gave our defence a very hard time all afternoon. He was involved in most of Leeds good play especially in the first half and he set up the first goal.
He works hard, usually on his own up front. Kenny made two great saves to deny him from scoring.
Wasn`t sure if he was in midfield or attack? Seemed to help out Becchio up front and scored both goals. He should never have been allowed to get as far as he did for the second goal, our defending was shocking.
Understand that he`s hardly been playing this season. He seemed to fit in ok and another defender who had a fairly easy day.
I had tried to erase this game from my mind quite quickly so it was painful trying to think about it again four days after the game.
If you can play like that for the rest of the season, you have a good chance of promotion.
We have gone off the boil and I am very concerned at the moment, the last two games have both ended in defeat and I think they have been coming as we have been riding our luck a bit.
Thanks James for the report, can`t believe I bumped into a QPR fan at the end of my road who gave me your details to get the report.
Good luck for the rest of the season, I am already looking forward to coming to Rangers for the last game of the season.
