LUFC Leicester confident of game going ahead
Leicester City are confident of getting their Boxing Day fixture against Leeds United on despite the recent arctic conditions sweeping Britain.
The midlands area has been hit by snow during the week, with around 4" of snow around the area.
The Walkers Stadium as undersoil heating so there should be no danger with the pitch being playable.
Since moving to their new stadium in 2002, Leicester have had a good record of ensuring their home games go ahead during the cold snaps.
Leeds ground staff have shown in recent weeks that hard work can ensure that their games remained on whilst the vast majority in the country were called off.
They worked around the clock to ensure the last two home games against Crystal Palace and Queens Park Rangers went ahead despite heavy snowfall in the Leeds area.

Was looking at the met office reports, they reckon its going to be around -7 on Christmas Day night. Lets hope they have cleared the area of snow. Its good that we are not getting involved in catching up fixtures at the moment. We all know what that did to us last season.
