LUFC Leeds trio in Team of the Week

Leeds United have three players in this weeks Championship Team of the Week for their performances in the 2-0 win over league leaders Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel along with midfielders Max Gradel and Robert Snodgrass have been included.

Schmeichel helped Leeds to a rare clean sheet, their first at home since the end of September.

Max Gradel caused the Rangers left back problems all afternoon and capped a great personal performance with both Leeds goals.

Robert Snodgrass was a constant thorn in the side of the Rangers left back and turned him inside out for the cross that led to Leeds first goal.

The Team of the Week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions over the weekends games.

Schmeichel - Leeds
Gunter - Nottingham Forest
Chambers - Nottingham Forest
Bartley - Sheffield United

Schmeichel must have got in because he managed to stay warm for ninety minutes as he had little to do.

I'd say Gradel will get this...I dont care once it's one of the Leeds players that does...

How come neither Collins or Johnson got a look in at this - BOTH were first class on Saturday

Surprised at Schmeichel being in there.

Well deserved for Gradel and Snodgrass, they must have given the Rangers players nightmares on Saturday night. Hmmmm, Schmeichel, not sure about that one.
