LUFC Becchio signs new deal
Leading goalscorer Luciano Becchio has signed a new three and a half year deal at Elland Road.
The 26 year old was out of contract in the summer but has tied himself to Leeds until the summer of 2014 ending any chance of Becchio of leaving for free at the end of the season.
The Argentinian joined Leeds in 2008 and as scored 48 goals in 126 appearances.
Becchio looks well on his way to breaking the 20 goal barrier this season having already netted 12 times including scoring his first hat trick for the club in the recent home win over Bristol City.
The striker has netted 19 and 17 goals respectively in his first two seasons and as become a huge fans favourite with his hard working performances for the side as well as his goals.

I was shocked when the announcement came through, I was certain he was on his way out of Elland Road. Was great to hear and stops a lot of gossip in January.
