LUFC O'Brien out with thigh injury

On loan defender Andy O`Brien was forced to miss the win over Burnley after suffering a thigh injury in training in midweek.

O`Brien has been influential since arriving from Bolton Wanderers at the end of September but the side managed to battle to a 3-2 win after trailing 2-0 at half time.

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson stated on Radio Leeds after the game that they are assessing the injury and they are not sure yet whether he will be fit in time for the clash with Queens Park Rangers next Saturday.

Leeds are unbeaten in the seven games that O`Brien has appeared in since he made his debut at Scunthorpe United.

what is it with leeds and half decent defenders ?? - it would be safer for em on an casualty christmas special than at elland rd just lately
simonfire1
I hope he's back for next week but with a busy Christmas period I don't think Grayson will risk him if he's not 100% next week. He didn't sound sure in his interview.

Well kept secret this week, lets hope he's back for the QPR game

We need him fit and playing. We wont get away with conceding two sloppy goals very often and it looks like Bruce needs O'Briens support to function half decent.
erni
I hope hes back soon, we need his steadying influence at the back.
King Billy
YEP says he is a major doubt for Saturday which means hes probably going to be okay.
erni
think it would be best to have o brian back for qpr, i'd risk him
