LUFC O'Brien - My future is away from Bolton

Andy O`Brien thinks he`s got no future at the Reebok no matter how well he plays during his loan spell at Leeds United.

The Bolton Wanderers defender is currently in the second month of his successful loan spell at Elland Road.

O`Brien has played a pivotal part in Leeds seven match unbeaten run since his arrival but he doesn`t feel that his form will have any bearing on his future with Bolton.

Speaking in the Daily Star, O`Brien said, "I won`t be surprised if they didn`t offer me another contract.

"Although I feel I`m playing hard and well at Leeds, I don`t think my progress here will have any bearing on my future at Bolton.

"I feel I`ve proved some people wrong with my good performances."

The Republic of Ireland international as actually turned full circle having started his career at Leeds before being released as a 14 year old.

I think its already a done deal that he will be signing for Leeds in January. He's made a huge difference since his arrival.

To be fair most Wanderers fans will wish AOB well, he did not do too much wrong we just improved the squad in that area and at his age he needs games. Good luck to the fella did a job for us and hopefully gets a contract with Leeds.

A swap deal for Johnson with them betting Bradley and we get AOB plus cash would seem a good deal.

O`Brien has played a pivotal part in Leeds seven match unbeaten run since his arrival...How true that is and hopefully Leeds can do some kind of deal to keep him...He defo wants to stay I'm sure...He's a rock in the Leeds defence and his experience is vital...

Bolton's loss will hopefully be Leeds gain.
