LUFC Leeds confident game will go ahead

Leeds United are remaining confident that Saturday`s game will go ahead despite heavy snowfall in the area.

With the pitch having undersoil heating there should be no danger that the pitch will be playable unless there is heavy snowfall close to kick off.

The ground staff intends to start work on the perimeter of the ground on Thursday to ensure safety of spectators on their way to the ground.

Leeds managed to get the Wycombe Wanderers game on in January despite very heavy snowfall and were one of only a handful of fixtures to take place over that weekend.

Great news that the game will go ahead unless ER gets a avalanche...And health and safety will be happy with the perimeter...And I'm sure that all Leeds fans will be happy I dont want to wait for another week for a game anyway...
