LUFC O'Brien - Duo deserve international calls
Andy O`Brien who is currently enjoying a loan spell at Elland Road from Bolton Wanderers believes Leeds duo John Howson and Robert Snodgrass both deserve international recognition.
O`Brien plays the last game of his initial one month loan deal at the club at Reading on Saturday and as been impressed with the Leeds squad, especially Howson and Snodgrass.
Speaking on the official Leeds website, O`Brien said, "I think Jonny Howson should have had a place in the last England squad because he is playing as well as any midfielder in England.
"I can`t believe Robert Snodgrass isn`t a regular in the Scotland squad either."
O`Brien who has earned 26 caps for the Republic of Ireland as made a big impression himself since joining Leeds, the side are unbeaten in his five games, having won three and drawn two, a run of results that has seen them back amongst the play off places.
Leeds fans will be hoping that the club can retain his services past Saturday.

They are both to old now for the under 21's, having watched the England game last week before I fell asleep early in the second half he wouldn't have done any worse. Regarding Snodgrass, I thought that was an ideal opportunity for him last week as the Scots had so many players out injured.

Both are too inconsistant to be selected. Need to be playing well week in week out. Saying that the same thing could be said of the entire England and Scotland team lists
