LUFC Clayton joins Posh on loan

Leeds United midfielder Adam Clayton has joined Peterborough United on loan.

The 21 year old has joined in a one-month loan deal and will go straight into their squad for the game on Saturday.

Clayton joined Leeds from Manchester City in August and as made just four substitute appearances since his arrival at Elland Road.

The youngster follows Aidy White in going out on loan this week after the fellow youngster joined Oldham Athletic on Thursday for a month.

The deadline for loan deals before the transfer window reopens is November 26th.

Am i the only one who sees this as a good move for Clayton. Cast your mind back 12 months ago when he was on loan at Carlisle, he didn't exactly set the world alight and have clubs queueing up for his services did he. He's now going to get regular first team football, the lad is 21 and still learning the game. In the few substitute appearances he's made for us so far, he might not have been on the pitch long but was always guilty of giving the ball away. At the moment, how can Grayson change much to the side? We have players like Sam, Faye and Watt who didn't start last Saturday. Always have to laugh at all these, 'lets give them a go' fans. If he was that good he would be getting a game, same with Nunez.

It will be good for him to get first team football, he's not getting a sniff at Leeds, not even on the bench.
