LUFC Johnson placed on transfer list

Leeds United have transfer listed midfielder Bradley Johnson after he turned down the offer of a new contract.

Johnson is out of contract in the summer and Leeds have said that if they receive a bid that is acceptable to the club during the January transfer window then he can leave.

Leeds chief executive Shaun Harvey speaking on the official website said, "We are disappointed that Bradley has not accepted our offer, but we were pleased to be assured that we can count on his 100% commitment while ever he is a player at the club."

The 23 year old has made over 120 appearances since joining from Northampton Town in January 2008.

I think his agent must have filled his head with grandeurs of elsewhere. He's nothing more than average and I will be quite happy to see him leave Leeds. If someone is dafte enough to pay a decent fee for him in January then I can't wait to see him leave. Leeds were never going to held to ransom by Beckford so there is no chance we was going to break the bank to keep Johnson.

Don't say that Dazza, he is a brilliant player and if any manager is reading this he is worth about 5 million, but will take 4 COD.

Be interesting to see what sort of reaction he gets from the crowd.
