LUFC Grella staying with Carlisle

Carlisle United have extended the loan of Leeds United striker Mike Grella until January 1st.

Grella has impressed since signing for the Cumbrian side last month and as scored two goals in six appearances so far.

The American has found games hard to come by at Elland Road so far this season, making just one substitute`s appearance on the opening day of the season against Derby County.

Leeds have installed a 24 hour recall clause should they need to bring the striker back to Elland Road at short notice.

Unless he scores a lot of goals in December I can see him being offloaded in January. We have a stack of players infront of him at Elland Road now.

Hard to see were he fits in when he returns, not getting rave reviews is he.

Scored two in six games, this is a chance for him to have a run of first team football. Lets see how he does.

I think with regular games Grella will improve in leaps and bounds. The rest of the players say he is the most skillfull player at ER so lets hope it comes out.
