LUFC Elliott frustrating Millers boss

Tom Elliott is continuing to frustrate Millers boss Ronnie Moore after picking up another injury.

The 19 year old has so far managed just five appearances since arriving at the Don Valley on a six-month loan deal in the summer.

The striker has already come in for criticism from Moore earlier in the season after pulling out of games saying he wasn`t fit enough to play.

Moore, speaking this week said, 'He has picked up another little strain, so he is having a nightmare.
''Sicknote' is what the lads are calling him now. He's 19 years old and I have never known anyone pick up as many injuries as he has.
'But he might surprise everybody one day and get 90 minutes in.'

The former England youth international became the first player in Leeds history to make his first team debut whilst still at school when he came on as a substitute at Norwich City in 2006 and he went on to make another two substitute appearances during the season.

His only other appearance in Leeds colours was when he started the Carling Cup clash at Macclesfield at the start of the 2007/08 season.

Since then he`s had loan spells at Macclesfield Town, where he made six appearances and Bury where he made sixteen appearances.

He only managed one goal between the two clubs, when he scored for Bury at Crewe Alexandra in September 2009.

It doesn't sound like the youngster wants a career in football. Can't see Grayson being too impressed and with Becchio, Somma, McCormack, Paynter and a few of the midfielders probably in front of him as a striker option I wouldn't be surprised to see him off loaded when he comes back. He's not done anything away from Elland Road with any of the clubs he's had a loan with.

He's actually declared himself fit for tomorrow - whether he gets a chance or not is another matter

The thing that seems to bew frustrating Ronnie is tha he feels Tom has loads of ability and is going to 'burst' to prominence somewhere. At 19 he should be full of running and bursting to impress so it looks like he has a mental block and needs a big kick up the backside by someone.

Tom Elliott coming to a building site near you very soon!
